Presentation Plus

Description

Even for the most experienced presenters, getting up and presenting in front of an audience can be a terrifying and even a phobic experience. Presentation Plus is a workshop that will benefit a variety of audiences including:

• People new to the presentation 'game' and need to understand just what happens when they have to stand and deliver and how they can become confident and effective presenters.
• People that have been around the presentation 'block' and are in a rut, giving acceptable, but not brilliant presentations.
• People that have to present detailed and technical information without putting their audience to sleep.
• People that give key note speeches, important conference presentations or crucial client presentations.

Presentation Plus is a hands-on, practical workshop. It has significant presentation practice incorporated into the workshop.

Objectives

• Identify techniques that will dramatically increase your ability to deliver an effective persuasive or informational presentation
• Determine what your audience will care about
• Create core messages of persuasion or education
• Incorporate a format for creating presentations on any topic
• Identify how to overcome nervousness and to feel more relaxed with your presentations
• Determine visual support material and technology to make your presentation memorable

Length: 2 Days (on-site) or 6 Scheduled Sessions (on-line)

• People that communicate or present information on a formal or informal basis.
• People that need to develop skills in presenting for the first time, or those seeking continuous development and improvement of their existing presentation skills.
• People who need to influence or inform, whether the audience is customers, colleagues, or management.
