Teams have become the primary vehicle for accomplishing the goals of an organization and, therefore, the most successful people are those who can quickly and effectively work with a variety of different groups. During the course of a work week most people have responsibility for both leading a team at some point while at other times serving as a member of another team.
The key to success is to develop an effective style that serves you well in both roles. In this highly participative workshop you will learn how to be an effective team player by learning your personal style, including its strengths and potential weaknesses, ways to increase your effectiveness as a team leader or members and walk away with an action plan to increase your effectiveness back on the job.
The learning methodology includes discussions, small group exercises, a self-assessment survey, a team player video, simulations, feedback and action planning. Each participant also receives a copy of the new book, Team Players and Teamwork and a survey instrument, the Parker Team Player Survey as well as handout materials.
