Course Description

Finance for non-Financial Professionals provides an introduction to financial statements and concepts for non-Financial Professionals across a variety of functions and levels. Concepts to be covered include financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow), accrual accounting, revenue recognition, return on assets, return on equity, internal growth rate. The class is a mix of lecture, discussion, group exercises and individual exercises.

David Rudofsky has a unique background for this training offering, with experience in consulting, finance, strategic planning and training.   He earned an MBA in finance from The Wharton School, and had 20+ years industry experience in finance, strategic planning and consulting, at the corporate, divisional and factory level at Kraft Food and Altria.  In his corporate life, and now as an independent consultant, he has extensive experience coaching and training non-financial managers about the relationships of business performance to financial results and shareholder value.   David is an instructor at NYU, teaching Fundamentals of Corporate Finance, and has been a frequent guest lecturer and business speaker at other prominent organizations.
