This curriculum is designed to take someone with a basic CCNA certification to a level of “Day One” ready post sales SE. The curriculum focuses on practical skills required to implement, operate and optimize an IP telephony system. Particular emphasis is placed on the ability to troubleshoot and configure the hardware and software.
The program includes orientation to the workplace environment and expectations of a channel partner organization. It emphasizes the practical knowledge and skills required the do the routine work of a post sales SE.
The instructional approach is primarily hands-on supervised labs utilizing selected and modified portions of Cisco certification training content plus content specific for the region in which the SE will be placed. There will be gated assessments permitting some participants to move quickly through material they already have mastered. There will be a two-day final examination consisting of both written and practical lab exercises.
