Cisco MeetingPlace 6.0 Administrator

This one and one-half hour instructor-led session will provide the attendees with the skills needed to perform "back-office" scheduling, user profile management, report generation and capacity planning tasks. The Administrator topics covered in this session include: the MeetingTime or Meeting Manager client application and its usage; the eight mandatory elements that comprise a user profile; the MeetingTime application to create and modify a user or group profile; the mechanism to bulk import user profiles from other databases; the MeetingTime application to verify the configuration settings for a previously scheduled meeting; the timers associated with scheduled meetings; and scheduling a meeting using a groupware application, such as Outlook.

Additional topics for MeetingPlace Analysts include: an overview of the MeetingPlace system architecture; the different types of ports, such as floater and contingency, and their utilization during a MeetingPlace conference; generation of common reports; use of the MeetingTime or Meeting Manager application to display the capacity management path; and use of capacity management displays for trend identification in MeetingPlace system utilization.
